What is art? Is it specific images that force the mind to wonder? Can there ever be solely one type of art? The phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" is a phrase one is accustomed to hearing. Photographers are artists, whether they be professional or amateur. Anytime an individual picks up a camera and snaps a few photos, they are creating art. So please tell me, when did we the people of this great world elect anyone as art police? The ones that simply and unjustifiably speak down to you because they're art is "so much better". "Center your models", "make the lighting better", constructive criticism is usually always welcomed by all, alas, we have the internet, where any idiot with a keyboard in their mom's basement can bash others from thousands of miles away, knowing nothing can ever happen. This is all fine by me, but how would these other individuals react, when their own art and themselves are being berated? I'd like to think the exact same way, with their hatred and bashing.

While most of this reads as a scattered thought, my point is this, love art. Whether it be paintings, drawings, music, movies, writing, or even photographs, love it all. And when you do get your so-called art police badge, let me physically see it before you go around bashing anyone for their likes, dislikes, or their art.
